How much does it cost?
- The professional with whom you are meeting will advise you of the cost of each meeting.

How do I pay for my on-line meetings?
- After you have chosen the day and time of the meeting with your professional, you will be taken through a booking system. If this is a private transaction between yourself and your professional, you can pay by either credit or debit card online. If you are covered by insurance the Insurance Company can pay it – provided the company has an account with appointmentrooms.com.

How do I obtain my user name and password?
- These will be sent to you through email by your subscriber.

Is my user name and password permanent or do I get a new one every time?
- You will use the same one every time.
Question 5
Is it possible to obtain a printed copy of the text typed at the meeting afterwards?
- You will be able to download a copy of the text following your appointment.
The text will only be available for downloading until midnight of the day that you have your appointment. After that, it will be erased for reasons of confidentiality.

How can I be sure the site is secure?
- All conversations are encrypted. appointmentrooms.com takes every effort to ensure that the most up to date firewalls and security systems are implemented for reasons of confidentiality.

What happens if I cancel, change the time or date of meeting or the other party doesn’t show?
- You will have to liaise with the professional with whom you made the appointment regarding the terms and conditions of their business.

Can I use wi-fi connections with this service?
- You can use Wi-Fi, but you may find that the service cuts out from time to time. This is a common problem with Wi-Fi connectivity, and is not a problem with the appointmentrooms.com service.

What mediums of communication can I use – and what standard of equipment do I need?

For text based conversation you will not need any additional hardware. For audio and visual based communication you will need either a microphone (audio) or a webcam (visual), and the correct software on your computer installed. (Software usually comes with said hardware). As well as the correct hardware, you will also need a broadband internet connection to be able to transfer the videos at a rate that will appear smooth. In some cases you may receive lag due to your internet connection.
Please ensure that your web browser has been updated with the latest version, as older versions may not be compatible with the chat window.
