Question 1
How do I register with your service and what is involved?
- To register with appointmentrooms.com for a period of a year, go to the home page and click on “Register Here”.

Will I have my own internet address?
- No you will not require your own internet address. You will direct your clients to the appointmentrooms.com website.
Question 3
How do I generate user names and passwords for my clients?
- To generate usernames and passwords for your clients you need to login to your subscriber area using the login details provided, and click the add new client button. Fill out the form and your client will then receive their login details.
Question 4
How do I add a new client to my list?
- When you log on to your own page, you will see a button on the left hand side that
Indicates “add a new client’s details”. You will need to create a password for your client, and you will need to register your client’s e-mail address as their username. You can then send these to your client, who can use the username and password to access your diary.
Question 5
How do I know when a clients has booked an appointment?
- When one of your client books an appointment, you will be sent an e-mail confirmation of the day and time. Your client will also receive an e-mail to remind them of the day and time of their appointment with you.

What happens if a client is unable to log on because of an internet problem?
- You will have to discuss with your client, whether or not the appointment is refundable. appointmentrooms.com is not responsible for the reliability of either your service provider, or that of your clients. If there is a break in service of appointmentrooms.com – all money will be refunded so that your client can book again.

How do I make appointments free for clients to attend?
- You can set the price of your appointments to be free in the admin system under the page 'Duration Prices'.

Can patients double book?
- No. Each time slot in your diary permits only one booking.
Question 9
Are there any restrictions on the timings of my appointments with my clients?
- No. You are in total charge of your own diary. You can put as many or as few appointments in there as you wish. These can be for 24 hours a day every day, depending on your preference.

Can I use Appointmentrooms.com when I am away from my home computer?

Is there security on Appointmentrooms.com?
- Yes, all conversations are encrypted. appointmentrooms.com takes every effort to ensure that the most up to date firewalls and security systems are implemented for reasons of confidentiality.

Can I save a record of my sessions?
- You can download copies of any written text between yourself and your clients – so can they. However, for security reasons, the text will be wiped from the site at midnight each night.

How can I have my own bespoke web page?
- When registering with appointmentrooms.com you can specify that you require your own professionally designed web page from in.house.media for a one-off charge of £250.

What if I work for a large company and wish to use Appointmentrooms.com for clients who will not be paying by credit or debit card?

How much, as a professional, do I pay to use appointmentrooms.com?
- There is an annual subscription fee of £40.00 which you can pay online when you register. A fee of 15% of what you charge each client + 3% for credit card payments or 33pence for debit card payments will be deducted when we pass your earnings on to you.

When do I receive payment from my clients?
- When you register with appointmentrooms.com, you will give us details of the bank account that you would like your payments paid into. When we receive the money from the credit card payments, we will automatically pay the amount into your account and this will be shown on your accounts page.

What mediums of communication can I use – and what standard of equipment do I need?

For text based conversation you will not need any additional piece of hardware. For audio and visual based communication you will need either a microphone (audio) or a webcam (visual), and the correct software on your computer installed. (Software usually comes with said hardware). As well as the correct hardware, you will also need a broadband internet connection to be able to transfer the videos at a rate that will appear smooth. In some cases you may receive lag due to your internet connection.
To view the chat messenger without any problems you will need one of the following internet internet browsers: Internet Explorer version 7 or higher, Mozilla Firefox version 1 or higher, Safari 3 or higher. If you do not use any of these, you may experience difficulties with using the messenger.

Can I use wi-fi connections with this service?
- You can use wi-fi, but you may find that the service cuts out from time to time. This is to do with your internet connection, not appointmentrooms.com.
